The
FCI Retriever Committee has chosen Germany to host the 2010 event,
which in previous years was held in Hungary, France and Finland.
This is a premiere for Germany in the area of international field
trials, and a wonderful opportunity to reciprocate the generous
hospitality shown to us at previous events by our friends throughout
Europe.
|
| The
ICC comprises of two semi-finals on Friday and a final on Saturday,
with a total of 48 dogs participating. As the name suggests, the ICC
is not open to multiple groups. Each team of dogs represents itself
in isolation from the other teams. The teams, each consisting of four
dogs, are registered for the competition by their sponsoring national
associations. Unfortunately, we cannot accept entries from individuals
or private clubs. Invitations to register, and the registrations themselves,
are handled exclusively by our national FCI representatives through
a web-based process. The Organization Committee of the ICC 2010 only
recognizes the delegates from the FCI national associations.
The
ICC 2010 Organizing Committee has been able to acquire an outstanding
venue, comprising of prime small game grounds in the West of Germany.
We will have the pleasure of hunting on the best small-game grounds
Germany has to offer. Participants will be notified of the precise
locations of the meeting point and the headquarters once their registration
has been approved.
The
Organization Committee of the ICC 2010 takes great pleasure in warmly
welcoming you to Germany.
